Why The Herald website is pants

The Herald, Scotland's leading national daily quality newspaper. A statement I'd be inclined to agree with. However, like many quality organisations, the quality of the user experience online is different to the quality experienced when buying the conventional product.

However, when you view the website, the news on the site is from the 19th December and showing news from 18th December. Do you think users want a daily newspaper that shows 3 day old news? The date of the paper is highlighted in blue under their main banner.
